Our last communication had us leaving Marathon this morning starting our journey back to the mainland of Florida. We knew it might be an uncomfortable ride but we were sure it would be a safe one. This morning Capt Geno got in touch with a sailboat that had been “out there”for the last 24 hours making an overnight passage up to Ft.Myers. They said it was awful. Therefore, we made the prudent decision to stay put until the winds die down. We are on a PLEASURE BOAT after all. So, Marti finished the laundry this morning and we will look at the weather forecast every night but it looks like we will probably be here till next weekend. That’s all for now.
